LOS ANGELES, CA (LA ELEMENTS) 3/12/2026 – “I love the way YSL makeup can amplify the way you feel and present yourself to the world,” says LA born and raised actress and model, Amelia Gray. “I’m someone who is comfortable with change and seeks to create it. Even when I’m working and creating a character, I always want to bring a sense of strength and self to the movement.”
Gray, Lila Moss and Laura Harrier are the new faces of YSL Beauty USA. Starring in the campaign, WHEN THE WORLD IS WATCHING, GIVE THEM SOMETHING TO LOOK AT, each has been selected for the powerful impression they have made on the world stage.
Gray took the style spotlight after walking the runway for such esteemed fashion houses as Chanel and Stella McCartney among others. Now, she is again making headlines for her role in Ryan Murphy’s, The Beauty on Netflix. A masterclass in transformation, Gray is a chameleon, igniting her first YSL campaign with authenticity and magnetism.

“There’s something really empowering about growing with a brand like YSL Beauty, says Gen Z fashion icon Lila Moss. “It feels personal to me. Makeup has always been less about transformation and more about intention-how you want to show up in the world that day. For me, it’s about subtle strength, individuality and owning your space without having to be loud. The most beautiful thing you can be is completely yourself.”
Moss has beautifully expressed her individuality by fusing advocacy with fashion. Having been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when she was a child, last year, Moss collaborated with Mattel to release a Barbie doll featuring her likeness. Accessories include a continuous glucose monitor and an insulin pump-all designed to destigmatize a condition that desperately needs more research.
Although comparisons to her supermodel mom Kate are inevitable, Lila Moss is stepping into her own light and can boast four Vogue covers to her name (British, Hong Kong, Japan, España). Effortlessly cool and poised under the flashing lights, she is returning for her third YSL Beauty campaign.

“When I do my own makeup, I love looking glowy and alive and highlighted – I never like to look like I’m wearing a lot, “says Laura Harrier. “I’ve always loved YSL for the way it makes my skin look and the neutral colors that emphasize my facial structure.” Be it acting in Academy Award-nominated films or fronting campaigns, Harrier’s seamless choreography of talent, attitude and beauty, elevates every frame.

YSL Beauty lives in the tension between timeless legacy and modern audacity. WHEN THE WORLD IS WATCHING, GIVE THEM SOMETHING TO LOOK AT, illustrates this duality. Each woman is captured in the street, moving through her day with a glow that feels lived-in, not manufactured. The raw, urban environment is their runway. Close framing and subtle gestures make every frame feel fresh, showing off the skin, the flush of color, the length of a lash. The setting is urban, the light is natural and the beauty is all YSL.
Three head-turning makeup looks take the spotlight delivering supernatural skin, flushed cheeks, daring lashes and glossed lips. New makeup must-haves include Lash Latex mascara, YSL Nude Hours Couture Eye Clutch, Make Me Blush Powder shades in Fuchsia Fizz (Shade 66), Honey Moon (Shade 12) and Stardust Love (Shade 10), and the new YSL Lovenude Lip Liner make their debut, alongside makeup icons like Candy Glaze, Lash Clash mascara, All Hours Bronzer and Touche Éclat Awakening Concealer Click Pen.
Shooting the latest campaign for YSL Beauty, was none other than Renell Medrano. The Dominican American artist won the prestigious New York Times Lens Blog Award for her photography series, “Untitled Youth.” Her commercial fashion photography has been featured in publications such as GQ and Harper’s Bazaar. As a director her work includes Bad Bunny’s music video, “Nuevayo!” and “Hammer” by Lorde.
