LOS ANGELES, CA (LA ELEMENTS) 8/30/2019 – With its emphasis on “natural” and “cruelty free,” it’s no wonder that Glow Recipe has developed a cult following here in the U.S. We’re always thrilled to discover exciting skincare brands, and that is why we were especially delighted to attend the Glow Recipe launch party for their new avocado based line spotlighting the Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask and the Avocado Melt Sleeping Mask.
This invitation-only party was held on August 14 at the Line Hotel’s nightclub, OpenAire and lasted well into the night. Guests were treated to music, cocktails created especially for this event and even a dance number by celebrity makeup artist, Angel “MacDaddy” Merino, that had to be seen to believed. The exclusive guest list for the Glow Recipe event included actresses AnnaLynne McCord, Cassie Scerbo and a virtual Who’s Who of beauty influencers including Desi Perkins, Patrick Starr and Lexington Hartman among many others.
So, what makes the newest Glow Recipe line something to celebrate?
The Avocado Melt Sleeping Mask is infused with avocado, manuka honey (protects skin from environmental antioxidants), kaolin clay and PHA’s (polyhydroxy acid-excellent for sensitive skin) for exfoliation.
The Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask is made with avocado, retinol, coffee berry, which is packed with antioxidants that prevent fine lines and fight cellular damage, and niacinamide. The niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 that works to even skin tone. The retinol in this eye cream is encapsulate. What that means is that this substance which is mainly vitamin A, is better at targeting damaged skin cells than regular retinol.
All guests were gifted with products from Glow Recipe. We received the Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask. It must be the soothing powers of the avocado because we are happy to report that this retinol infused cream did not irritate at all. And yes, there is a noticeable softening of fine lines as well. A retinol product that does its job without irritating the skin? Talk about a win-win.
