West Hollywood, CA (LA ELEMENTS) 10/09/2016 – Generation X, those born between 1961 and 1981, are now entering “middle age.” As time marches on, skincare needs change. To address those needs, Philosophy skincare teamed up with Ellen Pompeo for The Age of Cool, a special campaign launching Uplifting Miracle Worker. Uplifting Miracle Worker, Philosophy’s latest skincare line, is for “coolagers”, women who know that the years ahead are great years. The goal of the #CoolAger campaign is to initiate positive conversations on aging because after all, true beauty lies within and women can be beautiful at any age.
What makes the Uplifting Miracle Worker line unique is its COOL LIFT TECHNOLOGY, a cryo-rejuvenating based formula designed to reduce inflammation and increase skin collagen. The COOL LIFT TECHNOLOGY works with vitamin P, marine plankton extracts and other ingredients, to give an immediate improvement in the appearance of your skin. The Uplifting Miracle Worker line offers products for the targeted areas of the eyes, face and neck as well as a lift and tightening moisturizer booster.
The Age of Cool was held at Quixote Studios on September 22nd in West Hollywood, the same night as the Season 13 premiere of Pompeo’s hit show Grey’s Anatomy. Quixote was transformed into a Hollywood hotspot complete with VIP guests. Joining Pompeo at this event were Christina Millian, Garcell Beauvais and Mario Lopez. Attendees enjoyed handcrafted cocktails from the bar, a fun photo op and the music of acclaimed DJ Tony Okungbowa.
To mark the collaboration with Pompeo, Philosophy’s Hope And Grace Initiative donated $10,000 to the Aviva Family and Children’s Services. Pompeo selected this charity to receive the grant award in consideration for its work with neglected, abused and at-risk youth. Philosophy skincare and Ellen Pompeo also collaborated on a commercial which you can see here.
