BEVERLY HILLS, (LA ELEMENTS) 2/14/17 – We caught up with Fifth Harmony’s Ally Brooke at the GBK Pre-Grammy Awards Luxury Lounge, held on February 11th.2017. It was a family affair for Ally who attended the event at the McLaren Auto Gallery in Beverly Hills with her father, Jerry Hernandez. Fifth Harmony has come a long way since their debut on the second season of The X Factor US back in 2012. Since then the group has collaborated with acclaimed artists such as Kid Ink, and Ty Dolla Sign and firing out hit after hit in the process. We were intrigued to say the least to have the chance to chat with Ally and get an intro to this acclaimed singer.

We’d love to ask you some questions.

“Yes ma’am. Um, what kind of questions?” (Smart girl!)

Awesome questions. The song, “Worth It” is such a fun song not to mention a huge hit for the group… what was the story behind Fifth Harmony choosing that particular song to record?

(laughing at the “awesome questions” remark) “We were in the studio when we first heard it. These producers named Stargate, did the song, they wrote it, produced it and played it for us. After we heard it we thought, ‘Wow! That’s a hit!’ We got very excited about it.”

Any interest in taking on more of the songwriting duties for Fifth Harmony in the near future?

“Absolutely. I’m doing songwriting right now with the group, we’re doing it on our album and it’s really fun. We’re having a lot of creative control and input in our new album. So we’re very happy for the music.

What do you love the most about touring?

“I love being able to see the fans from all over the country and all over the world. To be able to meet them in person, it’s such a different experience. We get to have a relationship with them online, but seeing them in person, you get to really talk to them and you get to hug them. It’s a more personal experience. So that’s really fun, meeting the people. And then also traveling to different parts of the country and eating the food in different cities and just exploring.
