LOS ANGELES, (LA ELEMENTS) 7/31/2015 – “I love that BeautyCon is all about getting girls and boys from all different walks of life together, to talk and be open about issues we face and how to overcome them,” says Bailee Madison, star of The Good Witch. “My panel, Girl Probs, is all about how we deal with these issues and how we can overcome them in a safe and respectful way.”

Inspiring  panel discussions and celebrities from television, film, music and of course, YouTube, attracted thousands of fans who gathered at The Reef in downtown LA for the fourth annual BeautyCon Los Angeles which was held on July 11th, 2015. Tickets were sold to the public and thousands of fans were in attendance so much so that there is strong consideration for a possible change of venue due to the overwhelming popularity of Beauty Con.

For one day, BeautyCon offers the opportunity for celebrities and fashion brand representatives and executives to mingle and exchange ideas with fans, many of whom have their own fashion blogs and YouTube channels.  Gift bags overflowing with cosmetics, hair products, and specialty beauty items such as skin spa devices, were given out to many of the attendees.  Although Los Angeles is the site of the very first BeautyCon, New York, Dallas and London are also host cities.

Bethany Mota delivered the official keynote address along with Cosmopolitan.com Editor and Author Amy Odell. With over 8,000,000 YouTube subscribers, Mota has successfully channeled her acclaim in social media into opportunities for creating her own lines of fashion, fragrance and accessories for such brands as Aeropostale. Mota hosted a meet-up with her fans where she discussed must-have items for Winter Box. “Being able to curate my own box for BecautyCon BFF has been such an exciting opportunity and I can’t wait for my fans to see what we’ve been working,” says Mota.
