BEVERLY HILLS, CA (LA ELEMENTS) 9/10/2026 – On September 3, 2026, BMI hosted a reception at its Los Angeles office in celebration of its outstanding slate of Emmy-nominated composers and songwriters. Special recognition was given to these artists who created the memorable sound of some of television and streaming’s most talked about shows.
Hosted by Tracy McKnight, BMI’s VP, Creative, Film, TV & Visual Media, this event showcased a video montage spotlighting standout moments from the nominated scores. McKnight’s special toast as well as the cheers and applause from the Emmy nominees, gave a party atmosphere to this intimate event.
Among the nominees and winners of the 78th Emmy Awards Night One (held September 6) in attendance were the following: Jeff Beal (All Her Fault), Sean Callery (Winner – The Beast in Me), Ray Chew (Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade), Joshua Mosely and Kurt Farquhar (Beyond the Gates), Oak Felder (Spider-Noir), Christopher Lennertz (The Boys), Joy Ngiaw (Winner – WondLa), Carlos Rafael Rivera (Hacks), and Tyler Strickland (Winner – John Candy: I Like Me) just to name a few. This private event showcased BMI’s continuing commitment to supporting its roster of artists.
