LOS ANGELES, CA (LA ELEMENTS) 4/9/2023 – “Target has a long history of bringing to our guests the world’s best designers at amazing prices and our partnership with Agua Bendita, Fe Noel and RHODE is another great example of that,” says Jill Sando, Target’s executive vice president and chief merchandising officer. “These are bold, distinctive women-founded brands inspired by their own roots and cultures and I know our guests will absolutely love them.”
Target has wowed their customer base with past fashion collabs with the likes of Missoni, Alexander McQueen and Jean Paul Gautier. And now for Spring 2023, Target continues to impress with their latest high-fashion offerings.
Agua Bendita
Best friends Catalina Alvarez and Mariana Hinestroza founded this fashion house over 20 years ago. Their Columbian heritage is literally woven throughout the fabrics of their designs.
“We want every single thing to have a bit of our Columbian culture,” says Alvarez. “Our brand shows the exuberance of our Columbia-the tropical weather, the variety, the magic-you can feel the energy and good vibes.”
Agua Bendita for Target offers swimwear and ready-to-wear must-haves including matching sets, dresses and accessories. The nature and beauty of Columbia are reflected in the handmade prints, beautifully expressing a beach-to-street vibe.
Fe Noel
The Fe Noel fashion house can boast of having a CFDA finalist on board, none other than namesake, Felisha Noel. Fe Noel is deeply influenced by the designer’s Caribbean heritage as well as her desire for women to embrace their femininity.
“We’re living our Caribbean roots loud and proud, inspired by the natural resources around us. Fe Noel is about effortless luxury and seeing life in all its beauty,” says Noel.
Fe Noel for Target features swimwear, pants and coverups that combine easy yet glamorous silhouettes. This line is bursting with bold prints and pops of color that are evocative of the beautiful island of Grenada, where the designer was born.
RHODE
Purna Khatau and Phoebe Vickers prove that in the words of the Beatles, “you get by with a little help from your friends.” Best friends that is. Khatau and Vickers joined forces to found their fashion label, RHODE. A label with an Indian aesthetic and flare.
“The beauty and vibrancy of India is a constant source of inspiration. We also think a lot about ease and comfort-flattering silhouettes that can be dressed up or down and pieces that make you feel more confident,” says Purna Khatau.
RHODE for Target includes dresses, swimwear, towels and bags in a range of globally inspired prints.
Target’s Spring Designer Collection features a variety of designs that reflect Target’s dedication to inclusivity.
