Writers Guild Award winner for Best Original Screenplay, Barry Jenkins, stops by the Indochino display at Backstage Creations Retreat during the 2017 Writers Guild Awards

Aside from Bowie, whose show Speechless picked up a nomination for episodic comedy, the Writers Guild Awards Celebrity Retreat was attended by Barry Jenkins, (Moonlight) winner for Best Original Screenplay, Eric Heisserer, (Arrival) winner for Adapted Screenplay, actor William H. Macy, from the episodic drama nominated show, Shameless, actors Jeff Daniels and Randall Park, (Fresh Off The Boat) talk show host Chelsea Handler and actress Shoreh Aghdashloo, (The Expanse) among many others.
There were a number of outstanding gift sponsors represented at this exclusive event. Sponsors that had much to offer in terms of fashion, fashion accessories, innovative tech and philanthropy.

Indochino This Vancouver based company offers custom made to measure suiting. Clients select a fabric, choose different customizations, then Indochino takes their measurements. It takes approximately four weeks to complete and then the suit is delivered to the customer’s home. WGA nominees and VIP guests were gifted made to measure shirts and a pocket square.
Merge VR The slogan of Merge VR is “We Make Toys of the Future.” All nominees received a set of the company’s virtual reality goggles, which work in sync with iOS and Android smartphones.
Other gifts enjoyed by members of the WGA and VIP guests included Cane + Austin, providers of in home glycolic skin care treatment, ENSSO aluminum pen, and Finsix Dart, the world’s smalles laptop charger.
